Magniva is a product of the company Lallemand (Canada), which has many years of experience in the production of inoculants. MAGNIVA PLATINUM 2 is a forage inoculant specifically designed for crops with relatively high moisture and for sugar-rich grasses with over 30% dry matter, high sugar content and moderate fermentation challenges.
The inoculant contains two types of functional bacteria (homofermentative and heterofermentative). One is Lallemand’s patented bacterial strain Lactobacillus Hilgardii CNCM I-4785 (100 000 CFU/g feed) and the other is L.buchneri NCIMB 40788 (100 000 CFU/g feed). The unique combination of these two bacterial technologies (synergy) reduces the Ph level, reduces dry matter losses, reduces bad silage and reduces heating. It also reduces yeast and mold growth and increases the nutritional value of the silage.
The product is certified organic.
It is diluted in small quantities of water and does not settle.
