With unconcealed interest and enthusiasm began the two-day workshop on demonstration and training for working with the innovative artificial insemination tools EyeBreed and XtremiA, developed by the French company AXCE. The event was organized by BG Genomix and held with the kind cooperation of Ekani AD with. Treme, Shumen region.
Special guest of the seminar is AXCE representative Bruno Rigaud, who leads the training and demonstrates the advantages of the insemination technology without rectal palpation to more than 12 veterinarians from Bulgaria and Russia.
BG Genomix is the official representative of EyeBreed for Bulgaria, the first technological innovation that allows artificial insemination without rectal palpation. The training reveals more details about the functionality of the device, explaining how it can make farmers’ work easier and reduce animal stress. With this workshop, the importance of and interest in introducing innovations in animal husbandry and artificial insemination again stands out tangibly.
During the second day of the training, the main focus was on working with the innovative XtremiA insemination gun, which allows gentle and easy penetration up to 25 cm into the uterine horn, adapting fully to the animal’s anatomy. Sperm apposition is thus carried out as close as possible to the fertilisation site, thus achieving a much more successful insemination.
This is a real evolution in the field of animal insemination, based on the use of a specific material allowing the easy deposition of the semen at the end of the uterine horn with an ultrasound report before ovulation.
