Magniva is a product of the company Lallemand (Canada), which has many years of experience in the production of inoculants. MAGNIVA PLATINUM 1 is a forage inoculant specifically designed for corn silage above 30% dry matter with high sugar levels and aerobic stability challenges with feed flexibility after 15 days.
The inoculant contains two types of functional bacteria (homofermentative and heterofermentative). One is Lallemand’s patented bacterial strain Lactobacillus Hilgardii CNCM I-4785 (150,000 CFU/g feed) and the other is L. buchneri NCIMB 40788 (150,000 CFU/g feed). The unique combination of these two bacterial technologies (synergy) provides a new approach to feed management for crops such as whole corn, helping to prevent heating and spoilage. It also reduces yeast and mould growth, dry matter loss and increases the nutritional value of silage.
The product is certified organic.
It is diluted in small quantities of water and does not settle.
